Another great addition to your cottagecore or grunge wardrobe! This vintage dress from the 1980s has all the classic Laura Ashley details (princess sleeves, square neck, pockets) that we love, AND is made from super soft Viyella fabric. Viyella is a blend of wool and cotton woven in England since 1893. Called "guaranteed unshrinkable fine wool flannel", it is so light weight and cozy that it is often used for children's clothing. You'll want to wear this dress every day!			
 
			
Labeled US size 8. Vintage sizes often run small, and this would well fit a modern sizes 4, 6 and small 8s. Shoulder to shoulder measures approximately 13 inches, the chest is 34 inches around, the dropped waist is 31 inches, and the unattached belt is 68 inches long. The dress measures 46 and a half inches from shoulder to hem and 32 inches from waist to hem. Hidden zipper at back and two buttons at sleeves. Color is a traditional red tartan; dress photographed somewhat purple in the bright light.
